Inez Barnard, 91, of Urbana, IL, formerly of Fort Smith died Thursday, December 27, 2007 in an Urbana nursing home. She was a retired sales person and seamstress for Helens and a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Barnard, one son Doug Barnard and two brothers, Herschel McAlpin and Herbert McAlpin.
She is survived by two daughters, Alberta McMinn of Webb City, MO and Cathy Smith of Champaign, IL; one son Bob Barnard of Peoria, IL; three sisters, Luvene Carter of Russellville, AR, Charlene Roberts of Muldrow, OK and Peggy Geren of Barling, AR; one brother J.W. McAlpin of Fort Smith; eleven grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be officiated by Reverend Ben Anderson.
