Scott Michael Jungk, age 62, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 10, 1961.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Jungk and Jeanette (Jungk) Dahlin.

He is survived by his sisters Kelly (Mike) Jacobson of Eagle, Wisconsin and Shannon Champion of Daytona Beach, Florida; three daughters Heidi Nottestad (Jacob), Alicia Perkewicz (Cody), and Morgan Jungk; seven grandchildren Lilly, Lila, Lexi, Livy, Gracie, Luke, and Chance.

Scott was a 1979 graduate of Park High School in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1979 to his retirement in 1999 as the 4th Airlift Wing, 4th Storm Squadron, Vehicle Transportation Superintendent. He was also a Desert Storm Veteran.

Scott volunteered at North Metro Hospital in Jacksonville, Arkansas for many years and was a big supporter of the Special Olympics. He was a huge fan of sports. The Minnesota Vikings, Florida State Seminoles, Arkansas Razorbacks, the Minnesota Wild, and Tampa Bay hockey teams were some of his favorites. He also loved to play softball, basketball, and golf, as well as fish and anything else that allowed him to enjoy the outdoors. Most of all, he cherished his family and friends and lived his life to make people smile with his great sense of humor. He will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 1:00pm with a funeral service starting at 2:00pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
