James Willard Snowden, age 64 of Pangburn, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born May 5, 1950 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to J W Snowden and Glodean Smith Snowden.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Kaye Snowden of Pangburn; one daughter, Julie Meeks and husband Chris of Pangburn; one son, Jason Snowden and wife Tracy of Pangburn; seven grandchildren, Robin Avey of Judsonia, Jana Gordon of New Bern, North Carolina, Hannah Snowden of Pangburn, Addi Snowden of Pangburn, Carson Snowden of Pangburn, Jessica Snowden of Searcy, Kayden Snowden of Letona; two great-grandchildren, Kiezer Avey of Judsonia, Kimber Gordon of New Bern; and one sister, Shelia Sartin of Jonesboro.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J W and Glodean Snowden; and one son, Justin Snowden.
The family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy
