He was born Sep. 20, 1937, to Cecil Taylor Carpenter and Thelbert Crawford.

He served his country in the Army during his military service. He was a retired mechanic and enjoyed working on cars. He loved his family, and he will be deeply missed.

Robert is survived by his partner, Patricia Shupe; his children, Sheila (Tommy) Taylor, Marty (Griselda) Crawford and Patricia Walker; grandchildren, Keith (Heather) Crawford, Jeremy Crawford, Brandy (Ericka) Bush, Christopher Brown, Cheyenne Taylor, Kristen Walker and Kaden Walker; great-grandchildren, Zoey Hungary, Caleb Hungary, Brooklyn Bush, Aubrie Bush, Elijah Taylor, Ethan Crawford and Kaelyn Crawford.

In celebrating Robert’s life, we remember him as a man who embraced simple pleasures of life. He expressed his love for others through his actions and touched the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and quiet strength that will forever be remembered.
