*When William Barret Patman was born on December 4, 1891, in Arkansas, his father, William, was 22 and his mother, Rodema, was 17. He married Eula Matthews on June 16, 1912. They had two children during their marriage. He died as a young father on February 1, 1922, at the age of 30, and was buried in Pangburn, Arkansas.
