Ben Brown Jr., 90, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at his home.
He retired from the City of Fort Smith Street Department and J.A. Riggs Tractor Co., was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church and of the Masonic Lodge No. 32 and was the widower of Edna Andrews-Brown.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Washington Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
He is survived by two daughters, Paula Hampton-Andrews and Felicia Kangoma of Fort Smith; six sons, Donald, Johnny, Paul, and William Andrews, all of Fort Smith, Herbert Brown of Denver and Rodney Clarke of Camden; 34 grandchildren; and 58 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Eddie, Tim and Tyrone Cole, Brandon Jones, Terry Moss and Freddie Holmes Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be First Baptist Usher Board and stepsons.
