Truitt - February 5, 1892 - May 31, 1967
Jerry Truitt Dunn, aged 75 died Wednesday afternoon at his home near Hampton. He was a life long resident of Calhoun County and a retired employe of the Arkansas Highway Dept. Mr. Dunn was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 53 of Hampton, a veteran of WWI and a member of the Faustina Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Madge Reddin Dunn of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Tony Silen of Hampton and Miss Ida Lou Dunn of Little Rock; six sons, Rev. Horace J. Dunn of Fordyce, Joe T. Dunn and Vernon (Red) Dunn of Hampton, William J. Dunn and James H. Dunn of Camden, and Capt. Wayne Dunn with the U. S. Army in Puerto Rico; three brothers, Grover C. Dunn of Camden, Allen B. Dunn of Camden and Hugh Dunn of Minden, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Good and Mrs. Chester McLendon of Hampton, and Mrs. Hulen Stone of Beebe; fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Faustina Methodist Church with burial in Dunn Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - June 1, 1967)
