Willard Jeffery Wilbanks, 75, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Nov. 1, 2023. He was born Feb. 24, 1948, in Batesville, Arkansas, to the late Frances Mildred and Willard Corbin Wilbanks, Jr. Willard was proud to be a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He retired from the Corps of Engineers after 40 years. Willard attended Second Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas. He was a loving husband and father and a devoted "Poss" to his granddaughter. Willard was an intelligent man and a jokester that was always willing to help others and fight for the underdog. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Wilbanks; daughters, Leslie Wilbanks and Lindsey (Brian) Woodruff; granddaughter, Hazel Woodruff; brothers, James (Sandy) Wilbanks, David (MaryDell) Wilbanks; and sister, Olivia (James) Young.
A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
