October 26, 1938 - February 17, 2019
Doyle Cavnor, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died February 17, 2019. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on October 26, 1938 to Jasper and Bonnie Cavnor. He was married to his wife, Lucy Irwin Cavnor, for 53 years.
After high school, Doyle enlisted in the United States Air Force and worked with the 223rd Combat Communication Unit of the Air National Guard in Hot Springs. He was a full-time technician for over 20 years and proudly retired after 40 years in the Armed Services. Doyle also was a self-employed construction contractor for over 20 years.
Doyle is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Cavnor and Bonnie English, siblings Geraldine (Gerry) Scoggins, Robert (Bud) Cavnor, Joyce (Jo) Whittekind, David Cavnor, and son-in-law, Johnny Gregory.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Lucy Cavnor, children Terri Gregory, June Beach (Ben), Suzanne Herron (Brennan), Kristyn Cooley (Bill), grandchildren Chelsea Heard, Tavish Gregory, Lauren Beach, Sydney Beach, Lannah Herron, Mitchel Herron, Cooper Herron, Rowdy Cooley, Tyson Cooley, Kolton Cooley, and great-grandchildren Kaiden Helen and Destiny Helen.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday February 22, 2019 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Bobby Thornton officiating. Graveside services will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Hill and Rocky Hall.
The family would like to thank Dr. Oyidie Igbokidi for her dedication and care.
