Ellis F. Reeder, 75 years old, 3808 High Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Monday, October 28, 1963 in a local hospital. He was a member of City Heights Methodist church in Van Buren and was a retired employee of the Arcade.
Survivors were his wife, Gladys Reeder; three daughters, Mrs. Chester Dragulaski of Bartlett, Ill, Mrs. Waymon Self of Waldron, Arkansas, and Mrs. Gary Parker of Fort Smith; two sons, Thurman of Fort Smith and Herman of Texas; one brother, Joe Reeder, brothers, L. B. McGoveran of Antioch, California, Albert McGoveran of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Armon McGoveran of Fort Smith; one half-sister Mrs. Otis Minten of Little Rock; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at 3 p.m., Wednesday in the First Assembly of God church with B. Owen Oslin, assisted by H. Doyle Millard, officiating. Burial was at Roselawn cemetery under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
