PRIVATE FIRST CLASS US Marine Corps
April 20, 1951 - October 27, 2012
Mr. John T. Pyles III, of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, in a Fort Smith hospital. Mr. Pyle was 61 years, 6 months, and 7 days old. He began his career by working with his father in construction and later owned Eagle's Nest Archery.
Mr. Pyles moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1990, to work alongside his good friend, Rick Sisco. The two worked in the health insurance business.
Mr. Pyle is survived by his wife: Gail Pyle; 1 son: John T. Pyle IV, of Indianapolis, Indiana; 1 daughter: Rhodine Horton of McCrory, Arkansas; 1 sister: Sue Merle Sharrer, of Queen City, Texas; 3 grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Wayne Peerson, Gary Young, Brandon Young, Nicholas Young, Kevin Edwards and Scott Horton.
