January 20, 1929 - February 21, 2019

On This day February 21, 2019 Martha Jean Porter went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She fought many times to stay with her family and friends but the Lord saw that it was her time to come home. Her physical suffering has ended and she is now whole again.
Jean was born on January 20th, 1929 in Kokomo, Indiana.

She grew to her teenage years serving others and playing in the band of the Salvation Army. She was very blessed and loved Iife.

She is survived by her loving husband Tom Porter, who she was blessed with many good years of caring and loving each other, her son Harrel Lynn and his wife Gracie Goins, their sons Lynn Jr and his wife Lauren, their children Fletcher and Ellis, Joe Goins his wife Leda and their son Hayden, all of Raleigh, NC and Martha Jeans daughter Rhonda Bible, her husband Steve and their daughter Claressa, her husband Nick, and their other daughter Shondra all of Fort Smith, AR. Marth Jean was preceded in death by her sister Marie Bench of Modesto, CA and is survived by her sister Dorothy Vaughn of Santa Rosa, CA, her brother Carl Wolford and his wife Linda of Greenwood, AR.

Family will receive guest at Lewis Funeral Chapel 1-2 pm Monday before the service we look forward to seeing family friends. Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, February 25, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Chapel 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith, AR with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
