James "Jim" Charles Nixon, 50, of Barling died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in Barling. He was an employee of Jerry & Sons Tree Service. He is survived by one brother, Lynn Gardenhire of Fort Smith; stepfather, Warren Gardenhire of Barling; two nieces; one nephew; one great-niece; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Gardenhire, and two brothers, Donny and John Gardenhire. Memorial service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Service and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
