George Ray Allen, 51, of Bella Vista, AR, died suddenly January 25, 2016 at Mercy Hospital of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers. Born January 16, 1965 in Kelso, Washington, he was the son of Alvin Allen and Nettie Coates. He was an active member of AA for 19 years and an avid trout fisher. His hobbies included working on anything with a motor, leading to the launch of his own business, GSX Auto Body in Pineville, MO. He also loved watching Razorback football and old western movies. But most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, whether that meant curling up on the couch to torture her with said western movies, or going on spontaneous adventures together to any of the beautiful Ozark vistas. He was an incredible and one of a kind man, husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be deeply and sorely missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother and several aunts, uncles, and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sheilah, of their home; one son, Joshua Rabitoy of Edmond, Oklahoma; five daughters:, Nicole Brown of Tulsa and Ashley Daniels of Edmond, Oklahoma; Chandrah Garner of Fayetteville and Savannah Allen of Rogers, Arkansas; and Tabithah Allen of Aurora, Missouri. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren; two sisters, Claudette Brumit of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Tammy Kay Allen of Portland, Oregon. His godparents, Gary and Frances Weaver, live in Edmond, as well.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2016 at Eureka Springs City Cemetery, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Everyone is welcome to attend and share their memories of George.
