FORMER GRAVETTE MAN WAS WIDELY KNOWN WRITER
Arthur Mason Havermale, aged 76, who died in Kansas City the latter part of the past week following a long illness, and was, brought to Gravette for burial, did rural missionary work in that section for many years. He was the father of A.F. Havermale of Fort Smith.
He was widely known as associate editor of the National Voice, a pro-oibition paper published in California, and as a Gravette newspaper editor for several years.
Besides his son, he is survived by two brothers living in California.
Funeral services were conducted at Gravette by the Rev. A.V. Canady and burial was in the Gravette cemetery.
