ROGERS — Bart Leslie Chappell, 64, of Rogers died Oct. 1, 2007, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born March 9, 1943, in Pickens, S.C., to Bessie and Robert Chappell.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Frances Chappell of the home, to whom he was married July 22, 1983; three sons, Roy Hunter and wife Nancy of Rogers, Ricky Hunter of Rogers and Rocky Hunter and wife Paula of Bentonville; four daughters, Ruth Wien of Rogers, Ruie "Janet" Baker and husband Norman of Rogers, Rita Clarity and husband Don of Rogers, Reva Adams and husband George of St. Joe; 31 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rogers Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Hinson officiating.
