March 11, 1963 - March 8, 2002
Joni Mendenhall, 38, of Fort Smith died Friday, March 8, 2002, in a local hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Lupus Foundation. Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith. She is survived by her husband, Bobby; two daughters, Mandi and Jessica Mendenhall, both of the home; her parents, John and Claudia Milam of Greenwood; two sisters, Connie Cross of Dayton, Nev., and Debbie Pound of Baton Rouge, La.; and a brother, Butch Pound of Jenny Lind. Pallbearers will be Chris Morris, Mark and John Mendenhall, Johnny Anderson, Doug Kinslow, Randy and Kenny Milam and Britt Varner.
