December 6, 1955 - November 20, 2001
Bill Maledon, 45, of Fort Smith died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Fort Smith. He worked for the City of Barling Water and Sewer Department. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith. He is survived by three daughters, Melanie Maledon and Melissa Rich, both of Fort Smith, and Maranda Dupree of Cedarville; a son, Michael Moore of Pocola; his mother, Joyce Maledon of Barling; a sister, Linda Maledon of Fort Smith; two brothers, Wesley Maledon of Barling and Raymond Maledon of Kermit, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Lillie Shockley of Waldron; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bud Jones, Bobby Brunk, David Gimlin, Matt Pierce, Pete Harrington and Connie Clinard. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
