Harold Vaughn, 74, of Fayetteville died Jan. 26, 1999, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born April 24, 1924, in Fayetteville, the son of Norman and Frances Leona Jones Vaughn. He was a U.S. Marine veteran of World War II and a retired employee of the University of Arkansas Physical Plant.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Vaughn of Arlington, Texas; and one sister, Wanda Kelly of Fayetteville.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 29 at the National Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
