David Alan Shannon, 21 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 in Magnolia, Arkansas.
He was born on December 30, 1988 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was a business student at Southern Arkansas University and was employed at Domino's Pizza and Antigua's Grill in Magnolia.
David is survived by his mother, April Burdine and step father, David of Magnolia, Arkansas; father, Kyle Shannon and wife Darci of Mattawan, Michigan; girlfriend, Kathryn Butler of Magnolia, Arkansas; two half brothers, Brandon and Zack Shannon of Mattawan, Michigan; paternal grandmother, Brad and Lynne Jager of Kalamazoo, Michigan; paternal grandfather, Larry Shannon of Northern Michigan; maternal grandmother, Roberta Watts of Magnolia, Arkansas; and maternal grandfather, Philip Boussom and wife Cheryl of Malvern, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 14, 2010 at 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church with Bro. Wayne Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch East Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peoples Bank for a special fund for David.
Pallbearers will be Blake Bedwell, Zach Bridges, Mitchell Colbert, Jeremy Kelley, Ryan Ware, Alcide Baudoin, Mitch Eddy, and Ashton Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Outlaw and Derrick Jurls.
