Funeral services for Gary Lynn Welch, 60, of Ridgedale, Missouri, were held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, 22 August 2015, in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson, Missouri, with Brother Gary Williams officiating. Burial was on Sunday, 23 August, at 2:00 p.m., in the Antioch East Baptist Cemetery, Magnolia, Arkansas. Mr. Welch passed away Wednesday, 19 Aug 2015, at the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield. Gary Welch was born April 17, 1955 in Odessa, Texas, the son of William and Marjorie (Bell) Welch. He graduated high school and started his occupation, which was playing music. Gary was an accomplished guitarist/singer, and his favorite instrument was the five-string banjo. He had worked with a variety of musicians; worked in various restaurants, and played for private parties in the area. Gary moved to the Taney County area from Magnolia, Arkansas. He married the love of his life, Angela Teske, on September 10, 2011 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They celebrated three years together last fall. They were blessed with one daughter, and a child on the way. Gary and Angela attend the Talking Rocks Baptist Church in Branson West, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Marjorie Welch, and his brother, Bill Welch. Gary was survived by his loving wife Angela and daughter Abrianna Welch, both of the home; two brothers and their wives Darrell and Jackie Welch and Tommy and Nicole Welch, all of Magnolia. He was also missed by nieces and nephews. Memorials were encouraged to the Welch Children, 189 Boston Dr., Ridgedale, Mo. 65739.
