Hope Renee Freeman, age 51, of Denning, Arkansas, was called home, Saturday, December 24, 2022, on Christmas Eve to celebrate her most favorite holiday in Heaven. She was born June 4, 1971 to Wallace and Wilma Crooks West. Hope was an Altus-Denning graduate, began her career as a Master Florist opening the Altus Flower & Gift Shop, and later owning the Buzy Bee Flower Shop in Ozark. She was a member of the Altus First Baptist Church, an avid member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Altus Fraternal order of Eagles, was a very creative and adventurous lady, loved to sew and embroider, loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping, never met a stranger, always smiling, and friendly to everyone. Hope was recently asked what she was most proud of in her life and the answer was her children. She loved all and was loved by all. Hope is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bud and Virginia West, and her maternal grandparents, Charles and Elizabeth Riley Crooks; one sister, Mona Ann Timonere West; and one niece, Jancee Hice.

Hope is survived by her parents; two daughters, Jessie Pierce and husband Lane of Boswell, Oklahoma and Sydney Freeman and fiancé Nick of Greenwood, Arkansas; two sons, Dusty Freeman and wife Kylee of Denning and Shane Freeman of Altus, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Kenly, Peyton, Karter, and Rylee Pierce, Zayne and Lucy Freeman, Emerson, Everly, and Crew Jenkins; two brothers, Earl West and wife Denise and Lee West and significant other April all of Altus; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation service will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel 2315 West Commercial Street Ozark.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Altus First Baptist Church 926 Carbon Plant Road in Altus, with Brother Tim Stewart and Brother Martin Jobe officiating, with burial at Houston Cemetery in Alix, Arkansas, under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Williams, Justin West, Anthony West, Rustin Hawkins, Cody Harmon, Nick Jenkins, Lane Pierce, and Mark Covert.
