Mrs. Myrtle Brazele, 69, Smackover, died in an El Dorado hospital Thursday afternoon. She is survived by three sons, Elmer Brazele, Louann, Robert Brazele, Smackover, J. W. Brazele, Beaumont, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Black, Centerville, La., and Mrs. Carrie Temple, Parchment, Mich; four brothers, Sam Bryant, Walter Bryant, Arch Bryant and Henry Bryant, all of Camden; two sisters, Mrs. Ocie Christian, Camden, and Mrs. Pearl Jordan, El Dorado; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Apostolic Church of God in Christ in Smackover. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Sparkman. The body will be taken to the Elmer Brazele home in Louann. (El Dorado Times - January 2, 1971)
