Patricia Ann (Smith) Wilson, age 90 of El Dorado, passed from this life on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Oak Ridge Nursing and Rehab in El Dorado.
Pat was born on May 3, 1931, in Union County, AR, to the late Lawrence Edward (Ed) Smith and Anna Francis (Oeldeman) Smith. She was a lifelong member of the Newell Extension Club, a retired Registered Nurse and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Pat loved sewing and canning fresh vegetables from her garden, singing in the church choir and camping with her beloved late husband. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend, whom will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, of 62 years, Otis D. Wilson; two brothers, Robert Burton Smith and Richard James Smith; and one sister, Martha Annette Tackett Gray.
Those left to cherish her memory include; three sons, David Paul Wilson of North Little Rock, Mark Douglas Wilson (Lisa) of Hot Springs and Thomas Edward Wilson (Christy) of El Dorado; six grandchildren, Magan Wilson Burke (Scott), Allison Wilson, Riley Wilson, Valerie Woods, Brad Woods and Courtney Lambert; five great grandchildren, Trystan Wilson, Isabella Burke, Carmen Burke, Chris Burke and Landen Matthews; two sisters, Helen Greany of Jacksonville, AR and Julia Murray of El Dorado; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Bailey Funeral Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, with the Father, Edward D’Almeida celebrant. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
