April 14, 1951 - March 12, 2005
Larry D. French, 53, of Fort Smith, died Saturday, March 12, 2005, in a local hospital. He was a setup machinist for Rheem Air Conditioning Division, attended Grand Avenue Baptist Church, was a member of the United Steel Workers and of the Fort Smith Bowling Association and a former Fort Smith Bowler of the Year. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Roselawn Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Gale; one daughter, Marilee French; two sons, John Martin of Fort Smith and Charles French of the home; his father, Bill French of Fort Smith; one sister, Robbie Lovell of Spiro; and one brother, Scott French of Fort Smith. Pallbearers will be Mike, Matthew and Michael Whitman, Bill Mason, Herman Jarrett and Kenny James.
