HEALING SPRINGS RESIDENT DEAD
Richard W. Coast died Thursday afternoon after an illness of some months. Death was due to compilations.
Funeral services were held at the home Friday afternoon with burial in the Douglas cemetery.
Mr. Coast was born in Pennsylvania 73 yeas ago. He had traveled a great deal and was and interesting story teller. When gold was discovered in the Klondike, he was among the thousands to make the rush for this new El Dorado.
Following his marriage in Oklahoma about 20 years ago, he moved to Benton County and bought a farm went of Healing Springs. After selling it later, he moved to Elm Springs, but returned some time ago to Healing Springs. He is survived by his widow.
