Marsha Colenne Denny of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Thursday September 24, 2020 at the age of 68.
Marsha was born on September 9, 1952 at Reeder Ford in Short, OK to Virgil and Lucille (Flanagan) Denny.
She is survived by Leslie Wintory, her loving partner of 38 years. Their daughters Kim (Wintory) Taylor and husband Nathan of Southlake, TX and Karen (Wintory) Willems and husband Jason of Fayetteville, AR. 7 grandchildren who adored her, Kenna, Abigail, Ella and Jude Taylor all of Southlake, TX. Cole, Marleigh and Mason Willems all of Fayetteville, AR. Marsha’s beloved sisters Carol Mowery and husband Tommy of Cedarville,AR, Sandra Stamps and husband Ted, Regina Ogden and husband Edwin and Martha Adams, all of Muldrow, OK and Judy Denny of Fort Smith,AR. Her dear friend Rick Pittman and 17 nieces and nephews, 34 great nieces and nephews and 34 Great-Great nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly and all were her “favorite”.
She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Lucille (Flanagan) Denny, a sister Joan Mowdy and brothers Harol Ray and Phillip Denny. As well as her nephew Mickey Stamps.
Marsha was a long time employee of Holt-Krock Clinic and Mercy Computer Department. A member of Goddard United Methodist Church in Fort Smith where she found great joy in volunteering at the church pantry. Marsha was an avid reader and loved watching her “favorite” niece, nephew or grandchild participate in their sport or hobby. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone. Marsha was loved by everyone and her friends and family are devastated from this profound loss.
Pallbearers will be Jason Willems, Nathan Taylor, Cole Willems, Hunter Ryan, Cody Orsbun, Rick Pittman, Brock Ayres. Honorary Pallbearers are Edwin Ogden, Ted Stamps, Scottie Orsbun, Joe Ryan, Brad Hale, Bart Mowry, Earl Mowry. Viewing will be Monday, September 28th, 10am-6pm at Fentress Mortuary.
Funeral Services will be at 10am on Tuesday, September 29th at Fentress Mortuary Chapel with interment immediately following the service at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
