*Obituary
Benny T. Blevins of Barling(Sebastian County), Arkansas, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was 69 years old. Benny was a retired insurance agent for Shield of Shelter Insurance Company and a retired volunteer fireman for Danville(Yell County), Arkansas. He was a member of the Air National Guard in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents: B.T. and Hazel(Massey)Blevins.
He is survived by his wife: Jeannette; one daughter: Lee Ann Neidecker and family of Van Buren; two sisters: Jo Ella Kircher of Barling, Arkansas, and Linda Blackwell of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two brothers: Jim Frank Massey of Barling, Arkansas and Tommy Blevins of Cecil, Arkansas; one grandson: Benjamin Neidecker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at 1:00p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery.

Jeanette McKinney Blevins, 76, of Barling, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
She was born August 11, 1943 in Fort Smith to John and Lena McKinney.
She was a Christian and a retired teacher for the Dardanelle Public School System. Jeanette was an avid bridge player and member of the Fort Smith Duplicate Bridge Club, where she served as President.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Benny Blevins; and a sister, Sharon Price.
There will be a Private Graveside Service, with interment at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Lee Ann Neidecker and her husband Scott of Van Buren; a sister, Carol Gramlich of Marietta, GA; two grandchildren, Benjamin Neidecker and Remington Blevins Neidecker, both of Van Buren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
