Perry Taft Bell, 56, of Cave City passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his home. He was born October 6, 1966 in Batesville to H.T and Ona (Durham) Bell. He was a farmer and of the Christian faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his kids and his grandkids who called him Pops. He enjoyed his time on the farm working and around the lake. He loved cheering for his kids and grandkids basketball and baseball games. He was always waiting on that alley-oop dunk, always looking for bargain deals and cooking for Chili Sundays. Perry also enjoyed time spent with his trucking buddies, grilling out and get togethers. Perry always kept his head up and never complained.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Cheryl Johnson Bell of the home; three sons, Derek Bell, Dalton Bell and Trenton Bell all of Cave City; one daughter, Brooklyn Brinkley and her husband Jared Harris of Cave City; one brother Mitch Bell and his wife Geta of Saffell; father and mother in law, Gary and Becky Johnson of Cave City; three grandchildren, Cash Bell, Slade Harris and Stetson Harris; and several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life in honor of Perry Bell will be Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a eulogy, tribute and prayer by Mitch Bell at 6:00 p.m. at the Meadow located at 211 Spring Street, Cave City.

Perry will be laid to rest at the Maxville Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
