*Obituary

Our precious beloved mother, Engracia Apolinar, born on June 8, 1943, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022.
She was born in San Diego de la Union Guanajuato, Mexico.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving great husband Andres Apolinar (June 13, 2013); and is survived by her three daughters (Alicia, Alejandra, and Maria), and her son (Andres); her grandchildren, (Micaela Young, Joshua N. Apolinar, Josiea Fernandez, Sequan Rose, and Johann Apolinar), and her great-granddaughter Ziah Fernandez.

Her life was a success and full of blessings. She was very kind, gentle and wise, and loved her family more than anything; she was a daughter of the Most High GOD. She will be greatly missed, but her family will keep her memory alive forever. She overcame many obstacles by keeping her faith in God and was always willing to share advice that one can only get with age, experience, wisdom, love, and insight from Heaven. Her grandchildren commonly referred to her as the prettiest and best grandmother ever and that she was an Angel sent from Heaven.

A viewing will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., a Mass will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas; following the mass, interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery in Ft. Smith. The family will receive close friends and family on Wednesday, January 12, from 2-5p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
