November 21, 1958 - November 7, 2014
Robert Tyson "Ty" Peace age 55 of El Dorado, peacefully passed away on November 7, 2014 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Ty was born on November 21, 1958 in El Dorado, AR to the late Dorothy June (Gibbs) Peace and Benny Joe Peace and was a lifelong resident of Union County. Ty was also a graduate of Junction City High School.
Most who knew Ty, knew him to be a true and caring friend. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, had wonderful manners and was known to be a perfect gentleman. Ty had a very colorful personality and was described by many as one of a kind. In his younger years, he was an avid motor cross racer, winning many races and was admired by those who raced with him. Many have shared funny stories of Ty growing up playing baseball, racing his motorcycle and of good things he did for others in his later years. Ty struggled with substance abuse for most of his life with many attempts to overcome his addiction. Ty loved his friends and family dearly and wanted those he left behind to understand the dangers of substance abuse.
Ty was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Dorothy Peace and by two sisters, Linda Reynolds and Frances Nitching.
Those left to cherish his memory include; one sister, Barbara Peace Riesenberg and Brother in law, Al Riesenberg of Gulf Breeze, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Ty also leaves behind many wonderful and caring friends who helped care for Ty over the years.
