April 28, 1956 - August 8, 1974
Allen Jones, Jr., 18, of 1922 N. Roselawn St., died Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. Born in El Dorado on April 28, 1956, young Jones was the son of Allen and Willie Mae Wolden Jones. Survivors include his father, Allen Jones, Sr., of El Dorado; his mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Smith of Detroit, Mich.; a step-mother, Mrs. Willieteen Jones of El Dorado; three sisters, Miss Alice Jones, Miss Elizabeth Jones and Miss Sylestine Jones, all of El Dorado; four brothers, Alfred Jones, Willie Jones and Joe Frank Jones, all of El Dorado, and Robert Jones of Hot Springs; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Willie Waldon of Dodge City; and paternal grandfather, Lucious White of Kansas City, Mo.
