August 18, 1946 - February 25, 2018
Winchell K. Bell, 71, of El Dorado passed away February 25, 2018 due to complications from a recent surgery.
He was born August 18, 1946 in El Dorado, AR to Grady Bell and Elsie Smith Bell. Winkie worked for IBM in Houston, TX and owned and operated Arkla Computer Supply in West Monroe, LA.
Preceding him in death are his parents and sisters, Peggy Bell, Ivy Jean Martindale and Maxine Orr.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Gathright Bell, of El Dorado, who would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 9, 2018; a son, Jason Bell of El Dorado; a daughter, Janie Bell Looney (Mark) of El Dorado; a brother, Bradford Bell; a sister, Robbie Garabedian; two grandchildren, Drue & Parker Thomas and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Young’s Chapel with Jerry Debo officiating. Burial will follow at Burns Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Life Touch Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Rd., El Dorado, AR 71730.
