Dallas “Mark” Biggers, 55, of Charleston went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. He was born May 9, 1957, in Jonesboro to Neil Preston Biggers and Betty East Biggers Smith. He was employed by Stengel Cabinets as a cabinet maker.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Della Biggers; two daughters, Whitney Biggers of the home and Jessica Buckner and husband Shawn of Lavaca; and two grandsons, Wyatt and Luke Buckner, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Smith; father, Neil Preston Biggers; a sister and three brothers.
He leaves five brothers, Gary, Steve, and Dennis Biggers and Jacky and Roger Ensey; four sisters, Joan Brewer, Sherry Zerucha, Geanette Bowlin, Tammy Self and Ann Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dawson Cemetery and Milltown under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Buckner, Jason Holland, Eric Biggers Sr., Gary and Michael Biggers and Joey Winters.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Shipman and Mike Owens.
There will be open visitation from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
