Eddie Lee Stricklin, 72 of Conway, passed away Tuesday April 26th. He was born January 3, 1939 in North Little Rock to the late George Dewey and Elizabeth (Dent) Stricklin.
Eddie was also preceded in death by a son, Eddie Dewayne "Sledge" Stricklin, and a brother, James H. Stricklin. Eddie was of the Pentecostal Faith and will be remembered for his piano playing and singing for the Lord. He worked for Kroger 39 years until retirement. Eddie is survived by his wife, Christine Stricklin, three daughters, Debbie Cook (Thomas), Denise Stricklin, and Lisa Vandiver, one son, James Stricklin (Judy), all of Conway, a sister, Ada Redding (Charles) of Conway, a brother, Paul A. Stricklin (RayDell) of North Little Rock, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday April 30th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway (501-327-7727) with Bro. Gary Hammer and Bro. Roy McElroy officiating. Interment will be 3:30 p.m. at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be Friday, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guestbook: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com.
