J.D. Morris (Pop), 81, of Lavaca entered into rest on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 in Lavaca.
He was born Oct. 2, 1932, in Arbuckle Island, the son of the late Elmer and Eula Morris.
He was a retired construction worker, of the Baptist faith and a member of the Eagles Fraternal Order. (Cremated)
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Mayfield of Lavaca and Thresa Ramsey of Fort Smith; two sons, Doyle Morris of Booneville and Donnie Morris of Lavaca; brother, Homer Morris of Lavaca; sister, Johnie Bishop of Greenwood; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and his puppy, Bo.
