CATCHING, William H. - Died, William H. Catching, late Capt. of Co. A, 8th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, at his house near Colville, Ark. on April 25th, at 7 o'clock p.m. of typhoid pneumonia. He was buried in Hebron cemetery the following evening at 5 p.m. by the G.A.R. Fraternity. Comrade Catching was born in Knox county, Kentucky about the year 1833 and was 58 years old when he died. He went from Kentucky to the state of Missouri and from there came to Arkansas. He was one of the charter members of the
Burnside Post, A.S.G. Dept. of Arkansas which was mustered at Bentonville on the 21st day of May 1887 and was Post Q.M. when he died. J.A.B.
