Robert N. Box, 77, of Lavaca died Monday, May 9, 2005, in his home. He was born Dec. 2, 1927, in Grady, N.M. He was retired from Trane after 30 years of service and was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church on Arkansas 96. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca with burial at Hickory Ridge Cemetery in Lavaca. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; a stepdaughter, Teresa Moody of Spiro; two stepsons, Charles and Keith Ragan, bother of Lavaca; a sister, Mary Bassett of Converse, Texas; a brother, Jake Box of Portales, N.M.; seven stepgrandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joe and Homer Morris, Charles Ragan, Jim Barnes, Jose Medina and James Campbell. Son of Walter and Florence Marie Kos Box.
