Amanda Mae Weaver, age 41, of Sherwood passed away on December 25, 2020. She was born in Tyler, Texas on January 12, 1979 to John William and Catherine Jean (Lyle) Weaver.

She was an amazing nurse, who excelled while working in the NICU at Arkansas Children’s and then continued her nursing career in the Emergency Room at UAMS. She was a proud dog mom to a Golden Retriever and Golden Doodle and was an important part of the Doodle Community. Amanda always loved spending time with her nieces and nephew and was an avid Texas Longhorn fan. She attended the New Life Church in North Little Rock and supported an inner-city summer camp called Kids Across America and helped with the Love Truth Core Ministries.

Amanda leaves behind her nieces and nephew whom she raised for years, Miranda Jones, Autumn West and Noah West. Her mother Catherine Jean Lyle Cook; her brother John William Weaver, Jr.; her sister Elizabeth Rene Womack; her uncle “Rob” Robert S. Lyle Jr.; and countless friends and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her father, John William Weaver.

Amanda was deeply loved and appreciated by many.

A family hosted Celebration of Life will take place at New Life Church in Sherwood on Saturday January 9, 2021 at 2 P.M.
