Helen Turman Stringer, 91, of Uniontown, Arkansas, went to be her Heavenly Home on Saturday, November 26, 2011 in her home.
She was born October 19, 1920 in Wewoka, Oklahoma the daughter of the late Charlie and Christine Watkins.

She was a retired Environmental Supervisor for Sparks Regional Medical Center, one of the original Rosie the Riveters. She was an avid quilter and excellent homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert D. Turman, daughter, Peggy Kuykendall.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Denton, two daughters, Roberta L. Robertson and husband David of Fort Smith and Mary Kuykendall of Uniontown, Arkansas, twelve grandchildren, Pamela Dunaway, Arvin Jr., Rickey and Karl Kuykendall, Rick, David, Mark and Lindsey Turman, Lori Barber, Donald Wallace, Camdom Whorton and Michael Kuykendall, twenty five great grandchildren and twenty great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Hwy Ft. Smith, Arkansas with interment at 12:00 noon at Prairie View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Arvin and Karl Kuykendall, Camdom Whorton, Michael Kuykendall, Craig Wallace and Billy Lemon.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick, David and Mark Turman.
