Flora Vogel, 98, of Fort Smith, passed away January 22, 2010. She was born August 29, 1911 to Henry and Maggie Vogel and was the last member of the South 12th street clan.
She was a lifetime member of Immaculate Conception Church and retired after 39 years from Weldon Williams and Lick printing company.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and four brothers.
She is survived by Nieces; Ruth Tinder and husband Carl, of Fort Smith, Nancy Highfill and husband Hoyt, of Monroe, LA, Betty Meadors and husband Bill, of Maumelle, AR, Nephews; Johnnie Porter and wife Ann of Fort Smith, Charles Porter of Viola, AR and several great nieces and nephews.
Rosary was said Monday, January 25, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with burial at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Hollenbeck, Robert Marion, Ken Billingsly, Doug Schwartz, Jack Schwartz, and Jim Cuilla.
