SHIZUKO HARBOUR, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Shizuko was born in Iizuka, Japan on February 11, 1933, to Shizuo and Fusayo Shirohira Koretake. She served as a nurse when she met and married her lifetime love and spouse Roy Lee Harbour of El Dorado, AR. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother & friend. Shizuko always put her family and their needs before her own, and was loved and respected as the family matriarch.

Her lifetime hobbies included crocheting, gardening, cooking, & shopping. Her closest friends and relatives described her as hospitable, lively, and hard working. Always thinking of others welfare before her own. She was a member of East Main Baptist Church.

Shizuko is predeceased by her parents; brother, Mitsunobu Koretake; sister, Toyoko Koretake; and grandchild, Brandy Harbour.

Shizuko leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving husband of 56 years; Roy Harbour of El Dorado; two daughters, Sherry Kopp of Conway, AR, Terry Bradley (Daniel) of Paris, AR; one son, Daniel Harbour (Gwyn) of El Dorado, one brother, Yuji Koretake (Atsuko) of Iizuka, Japan; one sister-in-law, Chieko Koretake; eight grandchildren, Sarah Kopp of Richardson, TX, Lorraine Kellar (Kyle) of Greenbrier, AR, Rachel Morgan (Jeremy) of Allen, TX, Scott McKinnon of Conway, AR, Ryan Bradley (Fiancé Madalene Major) of Tulsa, OK, Nicholas Harbour of El Dorado, Nathaniel Harbour of El Dorado, Alexis Harbour of El Dorado; and two great grandchildren, Kayven Ballard and Presley Kellar of Greenbrier, AR.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 15, 2013, at Young’s.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 16, 2013, at East Main Baptist Church with Dr. Benjy McCann officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to East Main Baptist Church, 1903 East Main, El Dorado, AR 71730 or to the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR 71730
