October 27, 1932 - March 21, 2020
Heaven received an angel. Betty Ann Miller, age 87, of El Dorado, AR, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Advanced Health and Rehabilitation.
Betty was born on October 27, 1932 in Curtis, AR, the daughter of Herbert John and Lola Mae Eakin Holloway. She was retired from First National Bank (Bancorp South) after 40 years of faithful service and was an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and playing in the dirt with her flowers, entertaining friends in her home, traveling, spending time with family and her grandkids. Betty loved those Razorback Hogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert Cecil "Bob" Miller.
She is survived by one son, John Michael Miller (Karen) of El Dorado; three brothers, Herman Lorenzal Holloway, John Edward Holloway (Shirley) all of Bryant, AR, and Thomas Allen Holloway (Marilyn) of Bentonville, AR. Along with two grandchildren, Andrea Seeman (Randy) of Stephenville, TX and John Rowland Miller of El Dorado; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding public gatherings, there will be no public visitation or services at this time. Arrangements for a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 3209 W. Hillsboro St., El Dorado, AR 71730 or to Hope Landing, 214 Hope Landing, El Dorado, AR 71730.
