Mary Louanne Roenigk Day, 93, of El Dorado passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Timberlane Health and Rehab.
She was born March 6, 1923 in Johnston, Pennsylvania to Ray John Roenigk and Mary Correne Daugherty Roenigk. Before retiring, Louanne worked as a secretary at Our Savior Lutheran Church here in El Dorado. She lost her mother at a young age.

Preceding her in death are her parents; her step-mother, Lucille Roenigk; husband, Travis “Ted” E. Day; her sister, Lyndell McDowell, her brother, Ray J Roenigk, Jr. and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Travis “Andy” Day (Georgia) of Ironton, Missouri, John Day (Penny) of El Dorado and Stephen Day of El Dorado; her brother, Robert Roenigk of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Chuck Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday night at Young’s.

Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 900 W. Faulkner, El Dorado, Arkansas 71730.
