James Orie "Bud" Cox, 73, of Norphlet, Ar. passed away June 3, 2015 at Medical Center of South Arkansas.

Bud was born May 5, 1942 to Orie M, "Bill" Cox and Angie Lee Sisson Cox. He was an outdoors man that loved to hunt, had a straight forward personality and was a Jack of all trades, as long as he put his mind to it. He shared a great love for his cats and dogs.

Proceeded in death by his parents and step mother, Mary Lou Hunt Cox.

His survivors include his wife, Jennifer Cox, three daughters, Deschane Friday, Rhonda Thompson, Regina Bruce. Two sons, Bobby Crain and Chuck Handcock. Two brothers: Jesse R. Cox (Kaye) of Fayetteville and Alfred Gene Cox (Teressa) of El Dorado. Two sisters: Linda Lindsey of Benton, Rita Ponder (Lee) of Bentonville. In-Laws: James and Betty Parker of Norphlet. Nieces and Nephews: Vikki Harris (Ron), Tammy Taylor (Todd), Teresa Hearn, Sharon Davis (Scott), Aaron Biehler, Melanie Lindsey, Mallory Ponder, Adrianna Delancey (Josh), Donald Cox (Christi), Justin Cox(Bekah) , Frank Lindsey(Meredith), Jacob Ponder, Justin Cates, Cole Cates, Brennan Cates. 2 grandsons: Eric Williams and Aaron Bruce, 1 granddaughter: Deshawna Lancaster, 2 great grandsons: Damien Williams and Bryce Williams 26 Great niece and nephews 4 great great nieces.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Norphlet from 1-2 pm Saturday June 6, 2015 with services immediately following. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery
