Printis Marion McBride, age 87, of El Dorado passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at Timberlane Health and Rehab. He was born July 18, 1925 in El Dorado to Jonas V. and Agnes H. (Loper) McBride.
Before his retirement Printis was Instrument Technician for Amoco Oil Co. Printis served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church and was also a very proud member of “The over the hill gang”. He was also a member and past master of the Norphlet Masonic Lodge#718 and had also belonged to the Knights Templar. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW. Printis loved being around people and spending time with his family and church family.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his wife, Ruth McBride, two brothers, J.V. and Melvin, two sisters, Mildred and Syble.
Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Paul McBride & wife, Cindy; two grandsons, Matthew McBride and Jeremy McBride all of Boyd, TX; one brother, Murrel G. McBride of Boise, ID; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00AM Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.
No formal visitation will be held. Visitation hours will be from11:00 to 4:00 Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Wyatt Baptist Church in El Dorado.
