Harmon Gedin Bratton, age 70, of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away January 23, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born May 28, 1952, in Talihina, Oklahoma to Johnnie and Gracie Bratton. Harmon graduated from Keota, Oklahoma High School and had an Associate of Science degree in Forestry Technology from Eastern Oklahoma State College. He served in the Army National Guard for six years, worked for International Paper Company, Hough Brothers in Waldron, Arkansas, and retired from SGL Carbon, LLC at Ozark after 31 years of employment. Harmon’s hobbies were landscaping, gardening, and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Allen Wayne Bratton; one niece, Pamela Murphy; one great niece, Alisha Murphy; one brother-in-law, Roy Murphy, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Betty Bratton; and one niece’s husband, Chad Hollenbaugh.

Harmon is survived by his wife of 47 years, Suella Ross Bratton; four brothers, Cecil Bratton, David Bratton and wife Kathy, Steve Bratton and wife Regina, and Reverend Glen Bratton and wife Hope of Stigler, Oklahoma; three sisters, Vera Mae Murphy of Ozark, Viola Hollie and husband Gary of Keota, Oklahoma, and Dorothy Rubottom and husband Allen of Alma, Arkansas.
