Marion Elizabeth Evans Rainwater, 84 of El Dorado, AR; died on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Lifetouch Hospice.
Born on June 18, 1933 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Bernard L. “Buster” Evans and Annie Lee Woodall Evans. A homemaker, Marion loved caring for her family. An artist, Marion arranged flowers from her garden, enjoyed doing crafts, oil painting and drew sketches. She also enjoyed fishing and was an avid roller skater. Marion was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband Julius L. Rainwater with whom she would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on August 30th; their daughters Jana (Tony) Nations of Longview, TX, Rhonda (Les) Cardin and Chantle’ (Jack) Selman all of El Dorado; a sister Charlotte (Jimmy) Sullivan of El Dorado; grandchildren Cliff (Ashley) Nations, Eric (Elizabeth) Nations, Kaitlyn Cardin, Mallory (Alex) Wynn and Logan Selman; great grandchildren Nathan Nations, Payton Nations, Sawyer Nations and Ryker Nations.
The Family will receive friends at Youngs Funeral Directors Monday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Graveside services will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens at 10 am, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 with Rev. Daniel Supler officiating. Grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
