Julius L. "Tuffy" Rainwater, 86, of El Dorado, passed away, Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. He was born December 12, 1932 to Gus and Amy Dell Davis Rainwater in El Dorado, AR.

Before his retirement, he worked as plant manager for AMOCO. Julius was past president of Hutchinson, MN Chamber of Commerce, Platoon SGT for the National Guard, and a member of the American Legion. He was a Christian. He enjoyed golf, fishing, building furniture and repairing golf carts and could fix anything!

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 65 years, Marion Elizabeth Evans Rainwater; and two brothers, A.G. Rainwater (Jean), and Jerry Rainwater, Sr. (Colleen).

Survivors include his three daughters, Jana Nations (Tony) of Longview, TX, Rhonda Cardin (Les) of El Dorado, AR, Chantlè Selman (Jack) of El Dorado; brother, Leon Rainwater (Helene) of El Dorado; grandchildren, Cliff Nations (Ashley), Eric Nations (Elizabeth), Kaity Guinn (Seth), Mallory Wynn (Alex), Logan Selman; great grandchildren, Nathan Nations, Payton Nations, Sawyer Nations, Ryker Nations, Cooper Nations, great grandchild to be, Tucker Wynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Young's.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. Larry Hudson officiating.
