Larry Harness, 67, of Greenbrier passed away February 16, 2014. He was born January 17, 1947, in Marshall, AR, to the late Thomas G. Harness and Nettie Warren Harness Tilley. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Earl Harness and Thomas G. Harness Jr., 3 sisters Ruby Tuberville, Lorene Silva, and Lola Hutton.
Larry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Light Weapons Infantrymen during 1966 1968. Larry and his wife Linda spent time traveling, spending time with family (especially the grandchildren), and enjoying life. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Harness; son, Tom Harness (Michelle) of Beebe; daughter, Tina Harness Glover of Conway; 4 grandchildren, Ryan and Will Harness of Beebe, Kevin Glover of Conway, and Haley Reynolds (Mitch) of Greenbrier; great-grandson, Ryder Reynolds of Greenbrier.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at the Church of Christ in Greenbrier, with Minister Glen Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in the McGintytown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Gilbert, Mitch Reynolds, Kevin Glover, Ryan Harness, Will Harness, Roger Jones. Visitation will be an hour before the service on Wednesday.
